Hamilton’s Adam Castelli to perform at the Winona Peach Festival

Hamilton - Mayor Fred Eisenberger encourages all residents to participate in the upcoming Winona Peach Festival this weekend in Winona Park. The Festival will run from Friday August 22nd to Sunday August 24th. The closing ceremony will take place at 5pm on Sunday, August 24th.

Taking Transit to the Peach Festival

•  For HSR to the Winona Peach Festival, Stoney Creek TransCab is available to transport customers from Highway #8 & Jones Road transfer point only to the festival. 5.00 – 1.30 am Monday to Saturday only.

•  HSR customers traveling from Hamilton to Winona should be reminded to request a TransCab transfer (cost of transfer is 50 cents) from the Route 55 Stoney Creek Central operator when they board the bus. This specially punched transfer should be given to the cab driver when entering the cab at Stoney Creek Municipal Service Centre.

• HSR customers traveling from Winona back to Hamilton have to call Hamilton Cab at 1-877-525-2500 (toll free) and request a TransCab pick-up. The cab driver collects a valid HSR fare from the customer, along with the 50 cent TransCab premium and provides the customer with a white TransCab coupon. For more details call 905.546.2489.
