October 09, 2008

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Mayor Fred asks for your opinion on City Hall Hamilton, ON – October 10, 2008

As you know, Hamilton City Hall is under renovation. As City Council makes construction decisions on this historically designated building, we are seeking to balance good heritage and design with costs savings through the use of either marble, limestone or concrete as the main exterior cladding material. In response to numerous public comments, Mayor Fred is welcoming Hamiltonians to give their opinion through a poll on his website.

Mayor Fred said; 'As City Hall is the ‘people's building’, I want to hear from citizens.”
