Road Resurfacing to begin on King Street

Public Service Announcement FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE HAMILTON, ON – October 27, 2008 – On Tuesday, October 28th, the Public Works Department will begin road resurfacing on King Street between James and Bay Streets as part of ongoing upgrades to Hamilton’s roadways. King Paving has been contracted to complete this work, which is expected to be complete by mid-November, weather permitting. Most of the work will be completed during the night, between the hours of 7:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. Drivers are advised to be aware of lane restrictions during this work. As well, there will be no parking permitted on either side of King Street while this work is being completed. Every effort will be made to complete the work in an expeditious manner and to keep any inconvenience to a minimum.
