Passing of Jack MacDonald

I am saddened to learn of the passing of former Mayor Jack MacDonald.

Jack was a true city builder and fiercely proud Hamiltonian.

He was an innovator and often ahead of his time, he leaves a lasting legacy and his City a better place.

Among many accomplishments, Jack was most pleased to finally see the Red Hill Valley Parkway completed.

He will be deeply missed.

On behalf of City Council and all Hamiltonians we extend our condolences to his wife Jessie and the entire MacDonald family.
